Sauce For Cantonese Lemon Chicken
A popular lemon sauce that gives a refreshing and lemony taste to pan-fried and deep-fried batter-coated meat and seafood. Excellent as a dip or dressing.

No Added MSG, Preservatives Or Artificial Colours. Gluten Free.

Lemon Chicken (Serves 3):
1 packet Lemon Chicken Sauce
2 tbsp water
450g (1lb) diced boneless chicken
1 egg (beaten)
1/2 cup (125g) cornflour
Cooking oil for frying
3 thinly sliced lemon or lime or spring onions as garnish (optional)

Cooking Instructions:
1. Coat chicken pieces with egg. Put meat and cornflour in plastic bag. Shake bag to coat meat evenly
2. Pan fry or deep fry until meat is cooked, set aside
3. Mix sauce with water. Pour over cooked meat and mix well. Garnish

Cooking Tips:
a. Seafood (prawns or squids/calamari) or fish may be used instead of chicken
b. Suitable as a dip for chicken nuggets, crumbed fish fillets, seafood or spring rolls and also as a dressing for salad. To make a dip or dressing, mix 1 tbsp water with a packet of Lemon Sauce

Keep away from direct sunlight and store in a cool, dry place. Once opened, use immediately.
